my cat is an addict
i only have to so much as whisper the word “treat” and within seconds she’s leapt up, sitting on my laptop keyboard so i can’t ignore her (look at her, how can i resist that face?), and mewing until i give her one. i’m never buying her these things again; she begs for them at four a.m. by clawing her way along the base of my bed and doing flips in the middle of my floor - and if she doesn’t get one she’ll jump onto my pillow and wrap herself around my head in an attempt to suffocate me.
whoever said that humans own their cats was categorically wrong. this kitty has me whipped.
