this is so not my week!
the bad luck fairy loves me recently, haha! in just the last several days my phone’s been stolen, i spilled drink in my keyboard & broke it (using an on-screen one to write this, so slow), and left my shopping on a train! so skilled in being a massive spaz. :’)
i could let all this bring me down, but you know what? first world problems. rather than getting all “fml h8 my lyf” about it, i just stay chipper and accept that stuff like this happens - there are thieves out there, we are all clumsy and forgetful sometimes - and there’s no use whining. i’ve got a new phone on order, i’m taking my laptop for repair on monday, and will keep doing my best to track my stolen phone and lost shopping; instead of letting these incidents wipe the smile off my face! c: it’s no big deal, especially considering much worse things others in the world have to cope with - people complain far too much about the superficial & easily rectifiable, and forget to think about the bigger picture. so laugh & shrug off the little things that go wrong, do what you can to make them better, and move on! we each have a great life to enjoy, and shouldn’t make that hard for ourselves by sweating the small stuff and failing to appreciate what we’re lucky to have. ♥
