to put this in context for ya, after spending six weeks trundling around 25km² of the french countryside recording types of rock as coloured blobs on a huge map, we now have to figure out where the hell the boundaries go, how each rock type relates to the others in terms of age and processes, and deduce what it all looks like as an underground cross-section
