i did physics, chemistry, geography and maths! you don’t have to do those exact subjects, though; they just help. those who don’t have a foundation in them might have to do more extra reading, but everyone gets pretty much brought up-to-speed with the basics during first year anyway. c:
it’s such a fulfilling degree to do, because the content is so interesting, you get a lot of practical experience, the fieldtrips are great and coursemates are generally really funny and sociable. i’m following the geology spine of earth science right now - which involves volcanics, palaeontology, geomorphology, sedimentology, evolution and tectonics - but at many universities like cardiff, you can also follow environmental or economic spines with slightly different modules, depending on what you’re into. it’s very flexible! ♥
